Bar Mitzvahs

Kehillat Kadimah is proud to provide many options for Bar Mitzvah boys and their families. In addition to your special simcha in Shul, we offer an engaging, educational and fun Bar Mitzvah program for boys and their fathers/grandfathers. The program concludes with a special event for the whole family. Of course throughout this process you will be in close contact with our wonderful Rabbi Dovy Rapoport.

Bat Mitzvahs

The Kehillat Kadimah - JLC Bat Mitzvah experience is a fun, interactive and hands on journey, specifically aimed at guiding our young Bat Mitzvah girls as they navigate their way towards becoming proud Jewish women.

Under the guidance of Nissa Niasoff and Deborah Blackman the girls will discover the 'How, Why, Where, What and Who' of their inner souls in a friendly, personalised and intimate group setting.

Each of the sessions is packed with learning, fun, discussions, demonstrations and hands-on creative components. These include art, fashion, song, dance, technology, cooking, Chessed (communal outreach), plus a behind-the-scenes glimpse into performing some of our everyday Mitzvot.

The Bat Mitzvah girls will be introduced to a variety of inspirational role models within our community, each of whom will contribute their knowledge and talents in a unique and memorable way.

The Bat Mitzvah program culminates in a meaningful Challah bake and family Shabbat experience.

In addition to the program, there is an option to give a Dvar Torah in Shul on Friday Night.

Weddings

Your special wedding will be celebrated in a warm and welcoming atmosphere at Kehillat Kadimah. From the Chatan's call-up (aliyah) in shul, the beautiful Chuppah ceremony or organsing the paperwork, we are here to help!
